Cash grab on the interstate when door on armored truck flies open in Georgia

DEKALB COUNTY, Georgia – The Tuesday night drive home couldn’t have been sweeter for drivers headed home on I-285.

According to WSB, an armored car’s side door came open and a “substantial” amount of cash flew out on the interstate.

People stopped their cars to grab the money.

Dunwoody police say the money will have to be returned, but it’s not clear how they will identify the drivers who took it.
