City of Cleveland issues reminder about dangers of celebratory gunfire

CLEVELAND — The City of Cleveland is issuing a reminder about the dangers of celebratory gunfire.

Officials say shooting irresponsibly into the air can cause death, injury and damage to property.

Anyone who is caught discharging a firearm within city limits will be arrested.

Police will also be on the look out for illegal fireworks and noise complaints.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity is asked to call the Cleveland Police Department.
