Eight cited for fight at Cleveland Heights High School

CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio-- A large fight at Cleveland Heights High School resulted in arrests Friday afternoon.

As students left after finishing their final exams, a fight broke out in front of the school, Cleveland Heights-University Heights City School District officials said. It involved five female students and attracted a crowd of onlookers.

Cleveland Heights police said one adult -- a 27-year-old woman-- and five juveniles were cited for aggravated rioting, and one juvenile was cited for failure to disperse.

One student was treated after complaining of trouble breathing, school officials said. Police said that juvenile will also be cited.

An officer suffered a minor injury to her arm during an arrest, according to the police department.
