If you struggle with getting a good night’s rest, you may want to adjust your thermostat.

Research shows the optimal temperature for sleeping is between 60 and 68 degrees, according to Sleep.org.

Experts say the cooler air helps decrease your body heat, which can promote sleepiness.

They add that a person’s internal temperature drops when they sleep, so a cooler room could be good for catching Z’s.
