Case Western gives all clear after campus lockdown

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Case Western Reserve University has given an all clear to a shelter in place alert.

Just after midnight Friday, the university tweeted that an emergency had been reported on campus.

An hour later, the university updated to say police were investigating a report of shots fired near campus.

Shortly after, the campus alerted the shelter in place had been lifted.

According to a tweet, police investigated and found no immediate threat.
