Richmond Heights police raise awareness to heroin abuse after driver crashes car, requires Narcan

RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- Richmond Heights police are raising awareness about the ongoing heroin abuse epidemic in northeast Ohio.

Saturday a driver suspected to be under the influence of heroin was involved in a crash on Highland Road.  Police shared a photo of the car, which was completely flipped over, on Facebook.

Police say the driver did not appear to be seriously injured however he did require six applications of Narcan.
