Pony rescued from Trumbull County pond

FARMINGTON TOWNSHIP, Ohio– A pony was rescued from a pond in Trumbull County on Thursday.

The Farmington Township Fire Department responded to the scene on Stroups Hickox Road south of Greenville Road.

Using water rescue equipment, they were able to pull the pony to safety within 4 minutes.

The animal was fatigued and the owners are monitoring its condition.
