Cleveland RTA station reopened after flooding caused temporarily closure

Editor's note: The Puritas Rail Station reopened around 12:40 p.m. Sunday.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority reports the RTA Puritas Rail Station has reopened after it was temporarily closed due to flooding.

RTA had to close the station Sunday afternoon due to high water in the parking lot.

The red line rapid continued to run through Puritas station, but did not stop at the station.  Riders were not allowed to get on or off the trains.

Bus service also continued, moving passengers to either the Brookpark or West Park rapid stations.

RTA supervisors were on hand to assist customers at those stations.

The Puritas Rail Station reopened around 12:40 p.m.
