Parma police, service workers team up to rescue deer

PARMA, Ohio-- Two police officers worked with employees of the Parma Service garage to rescue a deer from an icy pond.

It happened Monday morning at Veteran's Memorial Park. The group used a bull float, which is made for finishing concrete, to pull the young deer to safety.

Video shows the deer struggling to get on its feet, then running away.
