‘M.A.S.H’ star to join Cleveland Orchestra for holiday run

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Actor Jamie Farr will join the Cleveland Orchestra for its Christmas concerts this year.

The orchestra has announced the Toledo native will take the stage in December for a rendition of "The Night Before Christmas" at Severance Hall. Farr played Corporal Klinger in the sitcom "M.A.S.H."

Audiences can expect a mix of holiday classics and contemporary numbers during the concerts.

Richard Kaufman will conduct the holiday series. Members of the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, the Cleveland Orchestra Youth Chorus Chamber Ensemble and the Cleveland Orchestra Children's Chorus will all be included in the concerts.

Performances start Dec. 14 and continue until Dec. 23. Tickets are available at clevelandorchestra.com.
