One year after a tornado devastated the area, rebuilding continues in Williamsfield

WILLIAMSFIELD - A year after a tornado touched down in this small community in Ashtabula County, those hit hardest, say their lives are almost back to normal.

"We were out of our house for 5 1/2 months," said John Sisley.

His house seriously damaged last November when the winds ripped apart his home and nearly two dozen other houses on a portion of Route 322.

"Most of our trees are gone," said Jackie Fuller. "We got new windows, doors, and a roof. We still have more work to do."

Many people on the street, are back in their homes and say they are thankful for the help they received from the community.

Drone Fox shows the area in 2017 and now.

"We all worked together," Sisley said. "We got through it.
