CLEVELAND - The Cleveland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation are on Holmden Avenue investigating the disappearance of Ashley Summers, the FOX 8 I-Team learned.
The FBI and police are looking behind a home on that street in connection with her disappearance. Ashley frequently spent time at the home with relatives. The people who live in the house now have nothing to do with the case but they are cooperating with authorities.
About 12 agents and Cleveland police officers were on the street knocking on doors and talking to those in the area.
Summers was 14 years old when she was last seen in July 2007 in the area of West 96th Street and Madison Avenue. Sources said Holmden Avenue is an area she was known to visit.
The FBI and Cleveland police announced Wednesday they had new information indicating there are differing last known possible dates and locations for her disappearance.
Law enforcement now believes there are two additional areas of interest where Ashley may have last been seen.
Summers is described as 5 foot 5 inches tall and she was around 130 pounds when she was last seen. She has brown hair and blue eyes, and has a tattoo of the name Gene, along with a heart, on her right arm.
