Two officers hurt when Cleveland police cruiser sideswiped

CLEVELAND-- The Cleveland Division of Police is investigating a crash that sent two officers and several drivers to the hospital on Thursday.

The patrolmen responded to a crash on Intestate 71 north near Fulton Road when a car sideswiped their cruiser and crashed another vehicle.

The two officers and the occupants of the two cars were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for various injuries.

Police said the accident show why Ohio has a "Move Over" law and why it's especially important in this kind of weather.
