Police: False reports of active shooter at AMC in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, Ohio — There was a heavy police presence at the AMC movie theater in Brooklyn Saturday night.

Brooklyn Police Chief Scott Mielke told FOX 8 that there was a false report of an active shooter at the theatre.

People reportedly were very concerned that the report may be real. But again, the police chief has confirmed that there was no active shooter at the complex.
