WATCH: The Ohio State University Marching Band plays tribute to Aretha Franklin

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Marching Band honored Aretha Franklin during their halftime show in the Horseshoe Saturday.

During the first conference game of the season versus Rutgers, the band played tribute to Franklin, spelling out “Aretha” during a Blues Brothers themed performance.

Franklin passed away on August 16 at age 76 from advanced pancreatic cancer.
