Cleveland police sergeant struck by vehicle suffers leg injury

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland police sergeant was injured after being struck by a vehicle at E. 9th St. and Erieside on Friday night, according to police.

The sergeant was on-duty, police say, and suffered a leg injury.

The officer was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment.
