Construction worker injured after being struck by car on I-71 at SR 176

CLEVELAND -- A construction worker was injured and taken to the hospital after being hit by a car while on the job.

The worker was struck at around 11:15 a.m. when ODOT says a driver entered the work zone on I-71 southbound at SR 176.

ODOT says employees were setting up portable barrier walls beneath the SR 176 southbound ramp bridge when it happened.
