Nothing found after Cleveland bomb squad responds to suspicious package left on mailbox

CLEVELAND-- The bomb squad responded to a suspicious package left on top of a mailbox on Cleveland's east side.

The Cleveland Division of Police was called to the scene at Superior Avenue and East 52nd Street shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday.

It was an active scene until about 4:30 p.m. when the all-clear was given after nothing was found.

Officers taped off the area and it was closed to traffic.
