CLEVELAND, Ohio — The rain may have literally dampened the red carpet, but it didn’t touch the spirits of performers, inductees and hundreds of fans who gathered to cheer on their favorite musicians at Public Auditorium Saturday.

A two-hour red carpet event took place right before the ceremony began at 7:30 p.m.

The fan favorite by far was Bon Jovi. Those in the crowd screamed and chanted “Richie!” at Richie Sambora, who stood by and waved for nearly 15 minutes.
