CLEVELAND-- The Cleveland Division of Police was at the scene of a massive marijuana grow operation on the city's east side.

It happened Friday afternoon on Meech Avenue near East 93rd Street.

Police found between 250 and 300 live marijuana plants and a bunch of dried marijuana as well. Police have yet to put a dollar amount on the amount seized.

Police arrested one suspect, but a name is not being released at this time.

Commander Brandon Kutz with Cleveland police said this shows they are still able to patrol their communities and carry out investigations that help put an end to criminal activity. "This is certainly an issue that affects more than just the neighborhood we are in right now. It is supplying marijuana all over the city," Kutz said.
