Police ask for help identifying man found murdered in Maple Heights park

MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio -- The Fox 8 I-Team has confirmed that a man was found dead of a gunshot wound inside Stafford Park in Maple Heights, and police are now asking for help identifying him.

Maple Heights police and investigators with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are investigating.

He is described as being a young African American adult with a slim build, facial hair and close-cut hair. He was wearing beige pants, a white T-shirt, a blue hoodie zip up jacket and a blue nylon jacket. The male had on camouflage tennis shoes. He appeared to be about 5'10" to 6' tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Maple Heights Detective Bureau at 216-587-9624.
