They’re all the rage: Gender reveal parties!

You’ve probably either been to one, or at least heard of them at this point.

After the pregnancy announcement, the next question is “boy or girl?”

The next step that is sure to come is the gender reveal party, where couples come up with creative new ways to announce if they will be adding a bouncing baby boy or baby girl to their family.

Many people announce through pink or blue balloons or even a cake you have to cut into to see the color representing the gender.

But is all this tacky?
