Victims in North Canton murder-suicide investigation identified

NORTH CANTON, OH - The names of the deceased in a suspected murder-suicide in North Canton have been released.

The first victim found was Ronald G. Milliken, 49, of Harmon St. SW  in North Canton.

The second victim was Devin P. Milliken, 18, also of Harmon St. SW.

Early Monday morning, officials were called to a residence in the 500 block of Harmon St. S.W. to reports of an unresponsive 49-year-old male. The man, Ronald,  was found to have suffered several gunshot wounds.

Police searched the home and the surrounding area for another person possibly involved with the incident.

At about 2:50 a.m., police found an Devin dead outside a city park restroom in the 300 block of Hillcrest Ave. S.W.

Police say he appeared to have suffered from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Classes at North Canton Middle School were canceled Monday due to the building's proximity to the crime scene.

The investigation into this continues.
