LeBron James, Cavs remember Craig Sager: He inspired us all

CLEVELAND, Ohio — LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are among those remembering beloved sports broadcaster, Craig Sager.

Sager passed away at the age of 65 following a courageous battle with cancer.

LeBron posted on Instagram a photo of himself with Sager at the NBA Finals and said:

“RIP friend!!! Great to have work with you, known you and watch you for all these years. My blessing to your family and many prayers sent to the heavens above!”

The Cleveland Cavaliers tweeted:

“Our friend Craig was a true difference maker & inspired us all. Thank you, Craig! Our thoughts & prayers are with his family.

Cavs owner Dan Gilbert also shared a tribute to him:

“RIP Craig Sager. Very sad day. Craig had class, integrity & of course, ‘flair’. He knew basketball as well as anyone.Craig will be missed…”
