Will convictions be tossed? Prosecutors asking judge to throw out convictions of 40 people

EAST CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Prosecutors are asking a judge to throw out the convictions of 40 defendants who were sent to prison based on investigations by three East Cleveland police detectives. The officers were accused of making up evidence and giving false statements to steal money from drug dealers.

The officers pleaded guilty to corruption-related charges.
