Scene cleared after SWAT teams called to home on Cleveland’s west side

CLEVELAND - Cleveland police called out SWAT teams to a home on Scranton Road shortly before 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Police initially reported that was an armed man inside a residence there and that there were also a number of other people inside the home.

At around 8:30 p.m., police reported that the scene had been cleared and that one man had been arrested. They provided no further information.

Streets that had been blocked off during the incident have reopened.
