Suspects steal thousands in distraction robbery at Concord Township gas station

CONCORD TOWNSHIP, Ohio– Authorities are looking for a group of suspects after a distraction robbery in Concord Township.

It happened at the Sunoco on Crile Road shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office said a man and a woman distracted the clerk while a second man asked where the restrooms are located. He walked down the hall and broke into the manager’s office.

According to the sheriff’s office, he stole several thousand dollars.

The three suspects left in a tan, four-door Buick sedan with no front license plate. A third man was driving.
