LAKEWOOD, Ohio-- A North Olmsted man has been charged with obstruction of justice in the missing person investigation of Roaa S. Al-Dhannoon, 24, a Lakewood woman who has been missing since October.

Lakewood police say Ammar Sami is alleged to have provided false information to investigators from the Lakewood Police Department and the FBI, who are looking into her disappearance.

A Lakewood detective tells FOX 8, the man was indicted after he is alleged to have lied when he said he was shopping by himself. It was later learned he was shopping with the missing woman's husband.

Sami's bond is set at $250,000. His arraignment is scheduled for Dec. 23.

Al-Dhannoon was last seen at 6:45 p.m. on Oct. 16. She is 5'4", 132 lbs., and has a tattoo on her left hand and wrist.

Missing Lakewood woman

Last month, police told FOX 8's Peggy Gallek that Roaa is the mother of a 3-year-old and it is not like her to leave without notifying anyone.

If you have any information, you're asked to call Lakewood police at 216-521-6773 or the FBI at 216-522-1400.
