Vigil held in memory of University of Akron stabbing victim

AKRON, OH - A vigil was  held Monday evening in honor of a University of Akron student who was allegedly stabbed by his roommate over the weekend.

Duncan Unternaher, 23, was stabbed in the chest after a fight  at roughly 12:30 a.m. Saturday in an apartment in the 400 block of Grant Street. He passed away Monday evening at 5:55 p.m. in Akron City Hospital.

The vigil was held at Unternaher's fraternity house, Phi Delta Theta.

Among the speakers was the president of the University of Akron, Matthew Wilson.
