AKRON, Ohio — It was a stunning political victory.

Now, students at the University of Akron can take a course that will analyze the success of Donald Trump’s presidential run.

“My course will answer a lot of questions people still have after the election,” said Matthew Akers, Ph.D., director of government relations and assistant director of the Ray C. Bliss Institute of Applied Politics, in a news release from the University of Akron.

“We will discuss what happened during the 2016 presidential campaign as well as examine Trump and his positions and influences,” Akers said.

“Trump’s Triumph” will be offered for the Spring 2017 semester. It is open to undergraduates and graduate students of any major.
