COLUMBUS, OH – Ohio Governor John Kasich and Lieutenant Governor Mary Taylor have issued a resolution declaring that Saturday, November 26, 2016, is “Scarlet Letter Saturday.”

scarlet-letter-saturday-2016The resolution comes one day ahead of the all-important Ohio State – team up north Game being played in Columbus. It is effective throughout the entire state and urges “all Ohioans to avoid using the letter M, and to cheer on The Ohio State University Buckeyes to victory in the 113th edition of The Game.”

It also pokes fun at the coach of that team up north, who likes to drink milk with his steak, and also, it would seem, wants Judge Judy to be on the Supreme Court.

It also notes that ““this year’s game marks the ten-year anniversary of Heisman Trophy winning quarterback Troy Smith leading the number one ranked Buckeyes over their number two ranked opponents by a score of 42-39 in the ‘Game of the Century.’”
