COLUMBUS, Ohio– Buckeye fans by birth.

Babies born at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on Friday and Saturday will get a sweet pair of kicks. Nike donated LeBron James Soldier 10 in red and black to the infants.

The shoes retail for $55 a pair.

James and a few of his Cavaliers teammates are expected to be at Ohio Stadium for Saturday’s match-up. The Cavs power forward was rocking scarlet and gray shoes when he warmed up for Friday night’s game against the Mavericks at Quicken Loans Arena.

Buckeye babies welcomed into the world in the days leading up to the Ohio State-Michigan game at the Columbus hospital also receive a scarlet sleep sack. The cozy swaddles say “Beat Michigan” with the date of the rivalry game.
