WESTLAKE, OH - Santa Claus himself began the countdown as  Crocker Park lit up with over 20,000 lights Saturday, ushering in the holiday season in northeast Ohio. The lighting was choreographed to music and at its center was a 50-foot Christmas tree.

Disney Star Peyton List, who stars as “Emma” on Disney’s hit shows, Jessie and Bunk’d, was on hand for the event.

During her show, a very special presentation was made with the Make-A-Wish Foundation:  nine-year-old Owen Timura from Olmsted Falls was surprised with the exciting news that his wish to take a Disney Cruise is being granted on Christmas Day. Owen was diagnosed with Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, which is a rare type of non-Hodgkin Lymphoma, a year ago.

Light shows will continue at Crocker Park every night throughout the holiday season.
