Independence to rename part of Brecksville Road in honor of Cavs

INDEPENDENCE, Ohio– A portion of Brecksville Road will be renamed in honor of the 2016 NBA Champion Cleveland Cavaliers.

During a ceremony on Monday, Mayor Anthony Togliatti was unveil two streets signs for “Cavaliers Way.” It begins on Brecksville Road at Rockside Road and leads to the Cleveland Clinic Courts.

The Independence mayor will be joined by Cavs general manager David Griffin and CEO Len Komoroski, as well as members of the Cavalier Girls and the Scream Team.

The dediction starts at 2:30 p.m. in the Walgreens parking lot.
