And if you can’t adopt, there are plenty of other ways to help.

The shelter is holding its Calendar Release Party on Nov. 18. The party will feature all of the dogs from this past summer’s PawJect Runway show at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

It will be revealed which dog made the cover of the 2017 calendar.

Tickets are $25 each and include an all you can eat buffet and two drink tickets. There will also be raffle baskets, a 50/50 and DJ.

The event will be held at the Quaker Steak & Lube in Valley View.  Tickets can be purchase by clicking here.

Photos with Santa Paws are just around the corner and begin every weekend starting November 19.  Bring your pooch (or felines- if crated) to get pictures with Santa Paws.

There will be raffle baskets, a 50/50 and a bakery table to ring in the holidays.

The Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter is located on Sweet Valley Drive in Valley View.

It’s open Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4:30 p.m.

Adoption fees at the shelter are regularly $95. The adoption fee include the dog license, microchipping, first set of vaccinations, spay/neuter and rabies shot.
