Two years ago, Francisco Lindor dreamt that the Cleveland Indians would win the World Series.

And Lindor was still feeling pretty bad about Wednesday’s loss while he was reportedly out and about Thursday.

Twitter user Trust in Tito tweeted about an interaction one of her friends had with Lindor at an Apple Store Thursday.

She wrote: “My friend Carl ran into Lindor at the Apple Store today, and his response to what Carl said kinda breaks my heart…”

Lots of other people must know, too. It was retweeted nearly 2,000 times.

Lindor was playing in the Minor Leagues in 2014 when he tweeted about his dream of making it to the World Series.

After the Tribe did make it this year, his tweet was being retweeted again and fans had plenty to say about it. Some said Lindor is “living the dream;” while others said “dreams do come true!” One fan asked, “Frankie, will you pick lottery numbers for me?”
