CLEVELAND -- The pickings were slim at the Indians Team Shop Thursday night.
"I came here for a World Series hat," said Clint Crenshaw, of Cleveland.
World Series gear is flying off the shelves.
"I gotta get this shirt because Cleveland Indians have always been my team," said Eric Shore, of Akron.
"There's no game today! So, I figured we will be able to get in and get out without any problem," said Stephanie Connor of Columbus.
Connor drove two hours from Columbus to get some.
"This is a big deal for the Indians. And a big deal for Cleveland," said Connor.
Such a big deal that the Indians say they've sold over 72,000 units of post-season merchandise in a week. That's an average of 10,286 units per day, 428 units per hour.
Fans aren't surprised. "No I'm not because I'm here buying more and I can't find what I want," said Mark Utterbach, fan.
The Indians say plenty of tickets are still available for the watch parties at Progressive Field for games 3, 4, and 5 in Chicago.
They'll cost you $5 for general admission, $24 for club lounge option with food included.
Proceeds benefit Cleveland Indians Charities and MLB charities.
