CLEVELAND, Ohio– Don’t mess with our hot dogs!

That message from The Happy Dog in Cleveland to WGN TV. The Chicago TV station posted a story during Game 1 of the World Series, Tuesday night, showing a photo of the restaurant’s Fruit Loops hot dog — which is exactly as it sounds: a hot dog covered in Fruit Loops. They commented, “Yeah. No” underneath the photo, and proceeded to show what a “real hot dog” looks like.

The Happy Dog responded Wednesday with a Facebook post, which said:

“So while we were busy watching the Cleveland Cavaliers get their rings and Cleveland Indians shutting out the Cubs in Game 1, WGN TV was trolling us about Froot Loops on our hot dogs.

We know Chicagoans love their hot dogs, too. They have some great places, like Portillo’s, Superdawg, Chicago’s Gene & Jude’s Hot Dogs Since 1946 and the late great Hot Doug’s. We know because we found them on this list of best hot dog places in America (we had to scroll down from Happy Dog at #2 to find them, but they’re there alright).”

The Happy Dog also shared photos showing Cubs fans waiting in line, Wednesday night, to buy their food.

**More on the Cleveland Indians** Don’t forget, watch the World Series ONLY on FOX 8.
