CLEVELAND– Now, it’s really a party.

On Tuesday, the Cavaliers will raise their championship banner right before the Indians play Game 1 of the World Series across the street. It’s a Cleveland sports fans’ dream come true.

But last week, LeBron James joked there was only one thing that could make the night better.

“It’s going to be great. From the fans’ perspective, is there any better way? I don’t know, maybe having an ice cream truck outside both arenas at the same time as well? Icing on the cake,” James told reporters with a smile.

Blue Bunny decided to make that dream a reality. A semi-truck will be parked on Gateway Plaza Tuesday night, giving out free ice cream to fans.

“As soon as LeBron, one of the most playful basketball players in the league, made the request, Blue Bunny Ice Cream jumped at the chance to join the fun,” the company said Monday morning.
