CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Under a stunning red sunset, the red carpet was laid out at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Monday night.

"I'm extremely excited.  This is just the coolest thing," said Elyse Ertel, of Cleveland.

It was a celebration in honor of the Indians' trip to the World Series.

"This is super.  I'm so happy for the Dolan family and what they've been able to accomplish here," said Paul Ertel, of Cleveland.

Members of the MLB, Indians organization, VIPs, and invited guests partied inside the Rock Hall as the team got ready for the first game of the World Series.

"I remember 1954, I was a little kid.  They lost four straight, so, I am overly excited about this," said Ed Hill, of Cleveland.

Fox 8 cameras were not allowed inside this invitation-only event, however a couple of Fox 8 viewers shared photos of the party inside.  **See photos in above video**

But outside the Rock Hall, you could feel just the excitement.

People can't wait to see this team bring home a World-Series championship for the first time in 68 years.

"At my age, I never thought I'd see a championship, and then the Cavs brought it.  This is just icing on the cake," said Hill.

**You can watch all of the World Series games only on FOX 8!**
