NEW YORK — Could this be any cooler?  Or should we say, could Cleveland be any cooler right now?

Below is legendary actor, Tom Hanks, giving the Indians a much-deserved shout out ahead of the World Series on Tuesday.  Hanks, who hosted “SNL” last night, yelled, “Go Tribe!” at the close of the show.

Hanks is no stranger to Cleveland — he got his acting start here in what used to be called The Great Lakes Shakespeare Festival, now The Great Lakes Theater.

Back in June, Hanks popped in to Angelo’s pizza in Lakewood for a slice, happily posing for pictures with workers and patrons.
