GRAFTON, Ohio — Two people were found dead in Grafton Sunday after police were called for a welfare check.

According to police, police discovered the bodies inside a business in the 800 block of Barchard Street around 5 p.m.

Due to the state of decomposition, a positive ID of the bodies could not be made on scene.

It initially appears that one of the victims is male, and one is female. The deaths appear suspicious. One firearm was found at the scene.

Investigators from the Grafton Police Department, agents from the Ohio Attorney General’s Office BCI evidence collection division and the Lorain County Coroner’s Office were also called to the scene.

The deaths are still under investigation.
