"My nephew was getting his hair cut and I was standing behind him laughing when all of a sudden I see a gun right by my chest," said Yusef Suleiman.

Three men attempted to rob the store at West 59th Street and Storer Avenue in Cleveland, at around 7:40 Wednesday night.

Police said employees fired their guns in self defense.

Fox 8 obtained exclusive video of the shooting.

Yusef's nephew, Saed, was shot in the foot. Another person-- a 26-year-old-- was shot in the back and one of the suspects was also shot.

"I grabbed him and put myself on top of him," Yusef said. " I feel awful he got shot."

Yusef held his nephew's new tennis shoe, showing the bullet hole.

"He was so brave and he felt so bad his shoe got ruined," Yusef said.

The suspect's condition is unknown at this time.

Police are continuing to investigate.

Yusef says his nephew wanted to make sure he got home so he could watch the Indians game, Friday night.
