Troopers find $340K in cocaine during Summit County traffic stop

RICHFIELD, Ohio– Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers discovered eight pounds of cocaine during a traffic stop in Summit County.

Troopers stopped a car on the Ohio Turnpike for a marked lane violation just before 4 p.m. on Monday. According to the patrol, they spotted marijuana shake in plan view and searched the car.

That’s when they found the cocaine. It’s worth about $340,000.

Tanecia R. Richardson, 31, of Morgantown, W.V., was arrested, and charged with aggravated possession and aggravated trafficking in cocaine. Those are both first-degree felonies.

Richardson was taken to the Summit County Jail. She faces up to 20 years in prison, if she is convicted.
