OHIO -- The election is less than one month away, and if you aren't registered to vote, you're running out of time.

Today is the deadline to register to vote or update your address in the state of Ohio.

The Ohio Secretary of State's Office can tell residents whether they are registered to vote. You can do that online by clicking here.

The site also provides information on how to register.

If you'd like to avoid the hassle of lines on Election Day, you can also apply for an absentee ballot, which will be mailed to you. Those ballots must be postmarked by Monday Nov. 7 to count.
