CLEVELAND-- It's been a winning year for the city of Cleveland.

Stipe Miocic won the UFC heavyweight championship, the Monsters won the Calder Cup and the Cavaliers won an NBA title. Now, it's the Indians' turn, right?

The Tribe has home-field advantage for the American League Championship Series against the Toronto Blue Jays, which begins on Friday. Winning the best-of-seven series would send the Indians to the World Series for the first time since 1997.

But Cleveland fans have been ready to celebrate another title since June. That's when a Facebook event page popped up for the Cleveland Indians championship parade. At that time, more than 5,000 said they would go.

As of Tuesday evening, more than 12,000 said they would attendĀ the parade with another 16,000 saying they were interested. The event is scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 3 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Cleveland.

The page has become a hub for Cleveland sports memes, from Jobu in "Major League" to outfielder Tyler Naquin holding a broom.

As for the date, that's not a bad guess. Game 1 of the World Series is Tuesday, Oct. 25 with a possible Game 7 on Wednesday, Nov. 2.
