MARION COUNTY, Ohio– The Marion County Sheriff’s Office has released a new sketch of a woman they believed was killed by Shawn Grate about 11 years ago.

The remains of the woman were found in 2007 but she had never been identified. Grate, who is facing charges of killing two other women, admitted to the murder earlier this month.

Grate cooperated with authorities to help create the sketch.

The sheriff said Grate told detectives he murdered the young woman because she did not deliver magazines his mother had ordered.

Anyone who may know the woman’s identity is asked to call the sheriff’s office as soon as possible at 740-382-8244.
