How long does it take to get used to being a parent? Research says more than 1 year

Parenting is no easy job, and it can take a while to get into the swing of things when having a new baby.

But just how long does it take before you’ve got parenting down pat?

The answer is more than a year.

The Mirror reports that research out of the UK found that new parents take 14 months to get the hang of parenting.

Some say they weren’t prepared for how hard it would be, and that the hardest part is the constant tidying up.
