ROCKY RIVER, Ohio-- A 27-year-old woman has died after her father allegedly shot her.

Jamal T. Mansour, 63, is charged with murder, felonious assault and domestic violence for the shooting which happened on Vine Court in Rocky River around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Paramedics and police rushed to the home after the brother of Tahani Mansour reported that she had been shot twice while asleep in her bed.

When asked to explain why the father would shoot his own daughter, family members blamed a medical condition; they said Mansour is a diabetic.

Mansour is being held on a $1.5-million bond.
