NORTH ROYALTON, OH -  Reports out of North Royalton say that Browns offensive lineman Alvin Bailey was arrested for OVI early Monday morning.

Bailey was allegedly speeding on West 130th Street before making a turn into a nearby dog park. As he started to get out of his car, a police officer told him to get back inside, but Bailey refused. That's when he admitted to drinking and was arrested for the OVI.

The local paper says that officers also reported seeing "green flakes believed to be marijuana" inside the car's center console.

The Browns released this statement from Executive VP of Football Operations Sashi Brown:

“We are aware of the incident and have spoken to Alvin to express our displeasure and extreme disappointment. This is a matter that must be taken very seriously and we will comment further at the appropriate time.”
